EUGENE VEKSLER
President
Eugene is a seasoned leader and entrepreneur with extensive experience in healthcare, finance and business operations. Prior to starting Home Healthy, as a Chief Financial Officer at Pacific HealthWorks, he co-founded La Perouse, a medical billing company that has grown significantly over the first four years. Prior to that, he was a VP, CFO and Business Development at Eisner Health for over 10 years during which time the organization grew from seven to 14 clinics. Eugene started his career in financial analysis roles with The Clorox Company and then The Walt Disney Company. As an entrepreneur, he co-founded Factoring Express, a financing company in 2017.
He holds a B.S. in Business Administration from the University of Southern California and furthered his education with a Health Care Executive Program at UCLA, a Business Analytics Program at Harvard Business School, and a Private Equity Program at Wharton Business School.
DUNIA CASTILLO
Director of Operations
Dunia Castillo, RN, is a dedicated nursing leader and educator with extensive experience in hemodialysis and home health care. She began her career as a dialysis technician, where she spent over a decade providing direct patient care, serving as a preceptor, and later advancing into administrative and clinical leadership roles.
She currently serves as a Director of Nursing, overseeing clinical operations, regulatory compliance, and quality of care delivery. Dunia is presently pursuing her Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) at Chamberlain University, further strengthening her commitment to advanced nursing practice and leadership. She was also recognized by Today’s Nurse as one of the Top Registered Nurses in Florida, an honor that reflects her dedication, professionalism, and impact on patient care. Dunia remains deeply passionate about mentoring future healthcare professionals and providing compassionate, patient-centered care.
